Supervision & Assessment
Each SRMO will be assigned a dedicated supervisor responsible for:
• Mid-term and end-of-term assessments
• Ongoing feedback and support
• Review of procedural logbooks and shift reports
Assessment Tools Include:
• Procedural logbook
• Term assessment forms
• Shift report forms
• Consultant feedback
• Teaching session attendance records
Clinical & Procedural Requirements
During the 12-month term, each SRMO is expected to complete:
Shifts:
• 5 shifts in Resuscitation area
• 5 shifts in Paediatric ED
Procedures (minimum numbers):
• 5 x Ultrasound-guided IV access
• 4 x Femoral nerve blocks for NOF fractures
• 2 x Shoulder reductions
• 2 x Procedural sedations
• 5 x Below-elbow casts
• 4 x Airway manoeuvres using adjuncts
• 2 x Formal shift reports
